Who we are

tickademy.com is run by a small private team. For anything about your data, write to hello@tickademy.com.

What we collect

Your email — to sign you in and send emails. Language and country — to show the site in your language (the country is looked up from your IP address in the DB-IP database, db-ip.com; we do not refine it).

Lesson progress and the simulator journal — virtual trades, so the account and results follow you across devices.

Technical data on requests: IP address and browser type — for bot protection and email limits; the “I am 18+” tick — the moment you set it.

Cookies and browser storage

tk_sess — the login session (30 days); tk_u — a hint to the interface that you are logged in; tk_lang — your language; tk_brand and tk_gate — service cookies for viewing the site. Without a profile, progress and theme live only in your browser.

We have no advertising cookies. An analytics service, when connected, collects anonymous visit statistics — no names or emails.

Who we share with

An email service — to deliver the login email and the newsletter. Cloudflare — to protect the site and run the “are you human” check. An analytics service — anonymous statistics.

We pass nothing to the venues in “Where to trade”: they record your visit through the link themselves, under their own rules.

How long we keep it

The login code and link — 15 minutes. A session — 30 days or until you log out. The profile and everything in it — until you delete it.

Your rights

Delete the profile and all data — the button at the bottom of the profile page; it is erased immediately. Unsubscribe — the link in any email. Ask what we hold about you — hello@tickademy.com.

Age

The site is for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect children’s data; if it happened, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

This notice may change; the version on this page applies, the date is at the top.
