- Find the nearest three-star event in the calendar: inflation, the interest rate or US jobs.
- Before it comes out, write down in a notebook or with the “Note” tool on the chart: what is expected and where, in your view, the price of bitcoin or gold will go.
- Open the simulator on the 1D scale and look at what happened in the first half hour after the release.
- Write down what actually came out, better or worse than expected, and how the price behaved.
In the simulator, prices for gold and currencies update every few minutes, bitcoin's update instantly. Either is enough for observing.
