Testing on history

A new recipe is first baked at home, not at a party for guests.

How to do it: open your asset in the simulator on the scales written in your plan (in the example, 1Y for the trend and 1M for the entry), and press “Replay” above the chart. Everything after a point six months ago will be hidden, so you don't know in advance how it all ended; the “Choose start” button sets a different point. On 1M, crypto has less history, about three months — make up the missing trades on a second asset. Move the chart forward with the “Next candle” button. Each time your rules give an entry, write down: entry, stop, target. Then keep going and see what was hit first — the stop or the target. Replay doesn't open trades: you keep your notes on paper or in a note on the chart.
