Two tickets for the same flight are not two different trips. If the flight is delayed, you lose both.
The euro and the pound against the dollar usually move in the same direction. So do bitcoin and ether. If you bought both EUR/USD and GBP/USD with 1% risk on each, when the dollar turns, both stops will be hit. You'll lose 2%, as if you had opened one trade of double size.
