- Minutes — hundreds of small trades, eyes on the screen all the time. The spread eats most of the profit. Almost never right for a beginner.
- Within the day — trades lasting hours, all closed by evening. You need several free hours in a row every day.
- A few days — trades held from a couple of days to a couple of weeks, using the 1M and 1Y scales. Half an hour in the evening is enough. The most convenient style for people with a job.
- Weeks and months — rare trades along a big trend. You need patience and a calm head with wide stops.
If you have a job and half an hour in the evening, the “a few days” style is almost always the best choice. Trades with stops work on their own while you're busy.
